The money raised from the journal will offset the cost of our spring performance. Our spring performance costs a considerable amount. Over the past few years, we have put together a journal with ads to raise funds to offset some of the expenses. Because the cost of printing the journal is underwritten by a donor, all the money we receive from selling ads goes directly to funding our performance. In addition to raising money for the performance, the journal serves as a beautiful keepsake for our dancers, their families, and all performance attendees.
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Dancing Dreams, a growing nonprofit that provides dance classes to over 100 children with physical and medical challenges throughout the New York City area, is gearing up for its annual spring performance on April 2nd at the York College Performance Arts Center in Jamaica, Queens. Our performance is the culmination of the year and a celebration of achievement for our dancers and their families. This year’s performance, entitled What If..., is expected to attract over 1,000 attendees. It is a full-scale, themed performance with numerous dances and complete with elaborate costumes, props, and lighting. In order to ensure that this is an accessible event for all, admission is free.

We ask that you consider making a tax-deductible donation for an ad in this year’s annual journal. Doing so is a wonderful way to show support for our dancers as they complete another successful dance season. More information about taking out an ad in our journal can be found on the pages that follow.
Thank you for your efforts in helping us to offset the cost of our performance. Your support will allow Dancing Dreams to continue to help our remarkable youngsters realize the joy and self-confidence that flow through the gift of dance.
Dear Dancing Dreams Families and Friends,
Once again, in honor of our beautiful Dancers, Dancing Dreams will be creating a lovely printed Journal to be given out at the April 2nd performance of What If.... As in previous years, we ask for your assistance in making this another successful fundraising event as well as a beautiful keepsake celebrating our Dancers and their incredible accomplishments. We encourage you to go to family, friends, local businesses, restaurants, medical providers (prosthetists, doctors, therapists) to request that they join us in supporting our children by purchasing space in our Journal for an ad, a business card, or simply for words in support of our Dancers.
We have met so many of you over the last few years and know that you are familiar with our mission. For those of you who are new to Dancing Dreams, we look forward to meeting you in person to provide you with the guidance to help us in this effort. Included in this packet you will find the documentation that you need to either solicit ads or submit them yourselves. Enclosed you will find a letter about Dancing Dreams to present to anyone who wants to better understand what Dancing Dreams is all about. There is a Donation Agreement to be filled out by anyone purchasing space in the Journal along with a tax receipt at the bottom for the Donor to keep. And finally, for anyone who wants to design an ad themselves, there is a document with the Ad Requirements. We hope you will ALL join us in this important effort.
When you review the enclosed documents, do not hesitate to email any questions to email@example.com or feel free to contact us directly:
